Mere Mountains is a family run business and is one of the longest established Outdoor Activity providers in the Lake District. We have something to suit  everyone, from a family canoeing session on the shores of Lake Windermere, to a Stag or Hen Ghyll Scrambling trip.  Mere Mountains is an AALS licensed centre, with a track record of providing a quality service.

All of our activities are run by experienced staff, in scenic locations.  From a half day introduction session, to a full multi-day residential programme, we are able to cater for a wide range of groups and individuals.

Activities available: Canoeing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Rock Climbing, Ghyll Scrambling, Bushcraft, Team Building, Abseiling, Caving, Mountain Days, Raft Building. Accommodation: Our Centre, Humphrey Head Outdoors is nestled on the Cartmel peninsular and is a great location for large family gatherings, Stag and Hen Do’s or a great base for Youth and Scout groups.
