At Near Howe, we are lucky to enjoy uninterrupted views of the stars on clear, dark nights. Experience the dazzling starry skies in the Lake District National Park with an expert astronomer at one of our dedicated stargazing events.

At the event you’ll enjoy an inspiring astronomical presentation inside before heading outdoors for a laser guided tour of the constellations. Using telescopes and binoculars you’ll be able to observe planets, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters (subject to the weather).
