Graythwaite Adventure provides award winning adventure experiences on the Graythwaite Estate; 5,000 acres of carefully managed estate land, woodland, parkland and lake frontage on the shores of Windermere.  Guests with us can enjoy 4×4 off-road driving, clay pigeon shooting, archery, axe throwing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, bushcraft, RIB rides, glamping and more.

We’ve designed and built the Lake District’s only purpose built off-road course, with BORDA (British Off Road Driving Association) accreditation and BORDA qualified instructors, with unrivalled views from the summit.

Our shooting site provides the perfect place to learn and practice target skills, with drinks served from the lodge and a roaring fire pit to enjoy.

Watersports are run from our hub on Grubbins Point, arguably one of Windermere’s most beautiful and sheltered bays. We offer both instruction and hire and all bookings include free parking, toilet and changing facilities.
