Our Beatrix Potter inspired Afternoon Tea at Briery Wood is all about delicious cakes and moreish savoury treats, plus plenty of tea & coffee served in a relaxed atmosphere.

Briery Wood is set in seven acres of beautifully secluded gardens and woodland. Situated between Ambleside and Windermere, our country house is the perfect location to take some time out and enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea.  Sit in one of our lounges, or if the sun is shining, take tea out on the terrace and have a catch-up with friends.

Valid: All year, all week.
Valid for a maximum of two people per card. Afternoon tea must be booked in advance by telephone and is subject to availability. Afternoon tea is served between 2pm and 5pm. Require 24 hours minimum notice. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for non-residential bookings. Please quote ‘MyCumbria’ at the time of booking. Your MyCumbria Card must be presented at Briery Wood for you to be eligible for the offer. Failure to present the card will mean that you have to pay the difference.
